Planning permission for a Grade II Listed Building near Swindon. This beautiful and unusual thatched cottage with a cruciform plan required a very innovative approach. Taking cues from the original buildings layout and triangular windows, the design developed as a interesting and very modern homage. Through clever and thoughtful design the contrasting two-storey extension was welcomed by the Local building authority and granted permission.
